Following on from her acclaimed recent album Change (her first new album in 11 years), experimental pop artist Anika releases a cover of Psychic TV's 'Godstar' as part of Sacred Bones' upcoming 15th anniversary compilation record in which an eclectic range of artists on their roster perform covers of each other’s tracks. Anika lists Psychic TV as a huge influence on her work, calling Genesis "a big inspiration, the humor and investigation element in their work. I remember going to a talk in NYC where G recommended that no-one finish art school. I like this concept. Perhaps it leaves things unfinished and room for the individual to grow shoots, continue on their own journey." The full compilation is released on the 27th of May, featuring a range of artists such as SPELLLING, Institute and Jenny Hval and also features original album artwork from legendary Rudimentary Peni member and artist Nick Blinko. -Toby Evans-Jesra
